When looking for a new fur baby from ANYBODY you should definitely make sure that you trust and support the person and program you are investing your time, money and emotions into. You should always feel comfortable being able to ask questions and get a professional  kind response in a reasonable time frame. Everybody gets busy days but there should never be a reason someone should not be able to get you a verbal or picture update in 48 hours as that is one of many red flags to keep a close eye on. Always make sure your breeder isn't just using their dogs for money and makes sure they are happy and well cared for both while whelping & raising pups and otherwise.You should always ask to see how puppies are kept while being bred and ask how they are being temperament teained and how often to make sure 1.) You agree with those standards and 2.) You know exactly what you are paying for and what you will be getting into when your new puppy gets home. Its very important to do plenty of research and lots of preperation.
